Project Overview
Fitness Cartel Sippy Downs is a full-service health club serving the Sunshine Coast community, located at 13 Fairfax Street in Sippy Downs. Rewired Electrical was engaged to deliver the complete commercial electrical fitout for this modern, multi-zone fitness facility from the training floor to the group fitness studios and nutrition bar.
The Facility
Fitness Cartel Springwood is a purpose-built fitness destination featuring:
- Specialist Training Zones – Dedicated free weights, legs, cardio, and functional training areas
- Group Fitness Studios – High-energy Les Mills classes including BODYCOMBAT and BODYPUMP, plus Cycle and Reformer Pilates
- Reformer Pilates Studio – A dedicated pilates space requiring specialist electrical and AV systems
- Recovery Zone – Sauna facilities for post-workout wind-down and recovery
- Reception & Amenities – Full front-of-house electrical, data, and member access systems
The Challenge
Springwood required precision across a multi-zone fitout where training, studio, and recovery spaces each demanded different electrical approaches — and where the standard of finish had to match the premium quality of the TechnoGym and Panatta equipment being installed.
- Specialist Zone Design – Each training zone required its own power distribution, lighting character, and AV infrastructure without any bleed between areas
- Studio Electrical – Reformer Pilates and Les Mills studios required cleanly routed AV cabling and appropriate lighting that wouldn’t compromise the class experience
- Recovery Zone – Sauna electrical installations required specialist fittings and waterproof solutions to meet safety standards
- Timeline Pressure – The facility was opening to a community that had been waiting for a gym of this quality, so delivery on schedule was non-negotiable

- All work completed to AS/NZS 3000 Australian Standards
- Queensland Electrical Safety Act 2002 compliance
- Certificates of Electrical Safety for all installations
