Project Overview
Fitness Cartel Holmview is a full-service health club and wellness destination located in Beenleigh, Logan City and it’s one of the most comprehensive fitness fitouts we’ve delivered in the region. Rewired Electrical was engaged to complete the full commercial electrical fitout covering both the Fitness Cartel gym and the adjoining Merse Wellness Spa.
The dual-facility nature of this project, gym plus premium spa made it a uniquely complex and rewarding electrical scope.
The Facility
Fitness Cartel Holmview and Merse Wellness Holmview together form an all-in-one health and wellness destination featuring:
- Merse Wellness Spa – Traditional saunas, warm magnesium spas, cold plunge pools, and monsoon showers for contrast therapy and full recovery
- Reformer Pilates Studio – Specialist electrical fitout for a dedicated pilates zone
- HIIT Cartel Studio – High-energy group fitness with dedicated audio-visual and power systems
- Training Zones – Free weights, cardio, functional training rigs, and comfort zone
- Kids Cartel Crèche – Purpose-built childcare space with safety-compliant electrical installations
- Group Fitness Studios – Les Mills, yoga, boxing, and more
The Challenge
Holmview presented a layered electrical challenge: we were fitting out two distinct environments — a high-energy commercial gym and a tranquil luxury spa — that had completely different electrical requirements, all within a single integrated development.
Dual-Environment Design
Transitioning from the high-load, vibrant gym to the serene spa required careful separation of lighting moods, power circuits, and AV systems
Specialist Spa Systems
Contrast therapy pools, infrared saunas, hot rock saunas, and cold plunge pools all required specialist electrical connections and waterproofing considerations
Safety-Critical Zones
Kids Cartel crèche electrical installations required strict compliance with childcare safety standards
Coordinating Multiple Trades
Working alongside plumbing, tiling, and fit-out teams across both facilities simultaneously

Results & Outcome
Fitness Cartel Holmview and Merse Wellness Spa opened as a seamless dual destination — gym meets luxury recovery. Members can flow from an intense training session straight into the spa for contrast therapy, massage, or simply a quiet wind-down in the sauna.
The electrical infrastructure we delivered supports that seamless experience from the moment the lights come up on the gym floor to the last flicker of mood lighting in the wellness spa.
