Project Overview
Fitness Cartel Tingalpa is a three-level fitness hub, one of the most architecturally unique facilities in the Fitness Cartel network. Located in Brisbane’s eastern suburbs, this multi-storey gym brings training, group fitness, wellness, and family-friendly facilities together across three floors of purpose-built space. Rewired Electrical was engaged to deliver the complete commercial electrical fitout from ground floor to top.
The Facility
Fitness Cartel Tingalpa is a premium, multi-level fitness destination featuring:
- Three Floors of Training – Dedicated zones across multiple levels for strength, cardio, and functional training, with room to move and no queues
- Group Fitness Studios – Cycle, Reformer Pilates, Boxing, and Les Mills classes led by expert instructors
- Hot Rock Sauna – In-club sauna for post-workout recovery and relaxation
- Comfort Zone – A designated low-intensity area for members seeking a less intimidating training environment
- Kids Cartel Crèche – On-site childcare allowing members to train without compromise
The Challenge
A three-level commercial gym presents electrical challenges that a single-level fitout simply doesn’t. Vertical cable management, inter-floor load distribution, and maintaining consistent electrical quality across levels all required careful engineering and execution.
- Multi-Level Power Distribution – Designing and installing distribution boards that effectively and safely serve three floors of high-load gym equipment, studios, and amenity areas
- Vertical Conduit & Cabling – Running power, data, and AV cabling cleanly across three levels while maintaining the premium aesthetic of the facility
- Studio Diversity – Cycle, Reformer Pilates, and Boxing studios each had distinct lighting, power, and AV requirements that had to be engineered independently on their respective floors
- Kids Cartel Safety – The crèche required strict compliance with childcare electrical safety standards, segregated from high-load gym circuits

From the moment the lights come on in the Cycle studio to the last person leaving the sauna, the electrical infrastructure we delivered keeps everything running reliably and safely.
Delivering a three-level commercial fitout to Fitness Cartel’s premium standard is a challenge our team rose to. The outcome reflects the skill and professionalism the Rewired team brings to every project.
